We awoke to the glorious white stuff!
You should have seen the boys when they came into the lounge... wish we had photos or video! Brad came in, started to head towards Daddy in the kitchen, but then saw the white front yard and said "its snowing". We had had a little sleety snow yesterday arvo, so he knew what he was looking at. Nate didn't even look towards Daddy... just straight to the doors and looked out for ages!
So, its basically been snowing all morning, there must be a good 20cm out there now. It is warming up a bit, the snow is now falling off trees and the sides of cars, houses etc. But I imagine it will still be round tomorrow morning. Simon will have a cold ride to work in the morning...
We got on the metservice website earlier and the temperature for Christchurch was n/a!
