Wow, we've been here a week, come 11pm tonight! And I've only felt one earthquake... yep, there was a 4.5 magnitude earthquake off the Wellington coast at 10.08pm last night. Felt a bit like a really heavy cat or two jumped on my bed, then I realised that it was a shake.
We've had a good week here. Boys aren't missing Dad too much, though they are loving playing outside with Grandad Ian. They even went down to the bottom paddock in the ride-on tractor and trailer to feed the "calfies" - Mum and Dad have two beef cows. We went to playgroup at the local Salvation Army on Monday morning and are heading off there again this morning. Brad chose that over going to the pools because they have purple cars there for him to drive. We've also been over to the neighbours a few times to jump on their trampoline and for Nate to chase their ducks!!
Mum and I went shopping at the outlet stores in Otaki yesterday, primarily to find some maternity clothes for me (I've sold most of my stuff from last time and also need some winter clothes) but we got nothing! Just a newborn gown, a present for Gran for her 85th, some underwear for Mum and I and a gingerbread man each for the boys.
Also, Mum is trying to teach me to crochet - thought I might make myself a beanie.... I'm not very good yet though. Think I need some proper crocheting yarn.
Right, off to playgroup now.... safe week everyone.
