We're settled in with my Mum and Dad. The boys are sleeping well and loving running around "the farm". Today they went down the road with Daddy and Grandad Ian to pick some lemons, had heaps of fun outside with some water washing out some barrels that Si is taking down to ChCh tomorrow, feed the chooks and the cows, and made a mess of the stones in Grandma Debi's enclosed garden. They also walked down the road with Mummy and Grandma Debi to see the Alpaca's and horses.
We've booked our flights to Auckland for Tuesday 8th and I've investigated play groups and music groups in Levin for this week. One day (or maybe two) Grandma and I are going to leave the boys with Grandad and go shopping!! I need some maternity clothes (I sold most of mine and they were summer ones) and we'll get some wool for Grandma to knit another beanie or two for baby - she's currently working on a hooded jacket in a wonderful variegated red. I'm sure the boys will get spoiled too. Might grab a paddling pool from the warehouse too.
Sounds like we have a trickling water supply at home, but will know more about all that when Simon is home.
All our love and hugs to those still in ChCh - Kia Kaha my friends.
PS. Anyone after a holiday in Ohau, some neighbours have a few rooms to spare.
